3244: Apologies for Absence:
Lynn Reed – away
The Clerk took the meeting for item 3245 and invited nominations for Chairman to the Parish Council.
3245: Election of Chairman:
Brian Ambrose proposed that Margaret Chadwick continue as Chairman for another year. This was seconded by Bert Collins and unanimously agreed. There were no other nominations. Margaret Chadwick agreed to continue as Chairman for another year, duly signed the ‘Declaration of Acceptance of Office’ and took the Chair for the remainder of the meeting.
3246: Election of Vice-Chairman:
Sharyn Robinson nominated Sue Romero as Vice-Chairman. This was seconded by Ian Woodroffe and unanimously agreed. Sue Romero accepted the position of Vice-Chairman. A vote of thanks to Lynn Reed for her support as Vice-Chairman over the previous year was recorded.
3247: Election of Officers:
• Relief-in-Need Charity:
Margaret Chadwick proposed that Brian Ambrose and Bert Collins be elected as Parish Council representatives. This was seconded by Ian Woodroffe. All agreed.
• Property Maintenance Committee:
Sue Romero proposed that Sharyn Robinson, Brian Ambrose and Bert Collins make up the Property Maintenance Committee. This was seconded by Margaret Chadwick. All agreed.
The Chairman asked if there was a need for additional committees. There were none.
